About Schwa Custom Woodworking

My name is Joshua Townsend, I live in Morrisville, Vermont on a small farm with my wife Katie and our two dogs, Mason and Deacon.  My love for woodworking began when I was an apprentice to a clock maker working on restoration.  I now have a passion for one-of-a-kind pieces that challenge me and are constantly taking me to a new level of my ability.  I like to approach each project with an artistic point of view and I love to allow the wood grain to speak for itself.  Every shape and line is approached with intention and care.  I take pride in my versatility and accommodation to each customer and their vision for the piece.
